RovitaTech ("we," "our," or "us") makes the Park Glide mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains what information the App uses, where it goes, and the choices you have. In short: Park Glide has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we do not run a server that receives your data.
1. Information the App Uses
1.1 Location
If you allow it, the App reads your device's location while the App is open ("While Using the App"). Location is optional: if you decline, you can still search for parking by typing a city or address.
- Your coordinates are sent to Google Maps Platform only to search for parking near you.
- Your device's built-in geocoder (Apple on iOS, Google on Android) turns your coordinates into the city or street name shown in the App.
- Your location is shown on a Google map inside the App (Google Maps SDK).
- We never receive, store or share your location. The App does not use location in the background.
1.2 Search Text
When you search for a city or address, the text you type is sent to Google Maps Platform (Place Autocomplete) to suggest matching places.
1.3 Saved Parking Spots
Garages you save with the heart icon, and your light or dark theme choice, are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere and are removed when you delete the App.
1.4 My Car (Where You Parked)
When you save where you parked, the App stores the spot's coordinates, its street or garage name, the time, any note you type and any photo you add, on your device only. None of it is uploaded. Tapping "I've left" deletes it, including the photo.
- Camera and photos: used only when you choose to add a photo of your parking spot. You pick a photo with your device's system photo picker, so the App sees only the photo you choose. The App never records audio or video.
- Parking timer reminders: reminders are scheduled on your device as local notifications. The App asks for notification permission only when you set a timer. On Android, you can also allow "Alarms & reminders" so reminders arrive on time.
1.5 What We Do Not Collect
- No account, name, email address or phone number
- No analytics, crash reporting or usage tracking
- No advertising identifiers and no advertising
- No contacts, no microphone, and no access to your photo library beyond the photo you pick
2. Third-Party Services
The App sends requests directly from your device to these services. Each handles the data under its own privacy policy:
- Google Maps Platform (Places API and Maps SDK): parking search, details, photos, ratings, reviews, place suggestions and the maps shown in the App. Google Privacy Policy
- Google Fonts: the App downloads the Poppins typeface the first time it opens.
- Apple Core Location and geocoding (iOS): your device's position and city or street name. Apple Privacy Policy
- Google Maps app or maps.google.com: opened outside the App when you tap "Directions" or "Walk back to my car".
3. Sharing and Selling
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information, and we do not track you across apps or websites. Apart from the requests to the services listed above, which are needed for the App to work, no data leaves your device.
4. Security
All network requests the App makes use encrypted HTTPS connections.
5. Your Choices
- Location: turn location access on or off at any time in your device's Settings.
- Saved spots: remove any saved garage by tapping its heart icon again.
- My Car: tap "I've left" to delete your parked car, its note and photo, and any reminders.
- Camera, photos and notifications: turn these on or off at any time in your device's Settings.
- Delete everything: uninstalling the App deletes all data it stored on your device.
6. Children
Park Glide is a general-audience app for drivers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
7. Your Rights (including GDPR and CCPA)
Because we do not hold any of your personal information, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. For data handled by Google or Apple, use the controls those companies provide. Park Glide does not sell your personal information. You may contact us with any privacy question at the address below.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. If a change affects what data the App uses, we will describe it in the App Store and Google Play release notes.
